Staying Onsite at Spark
We’re looking forward to welcoming you to StayKCC for Spark!
Below you’ll find important information about staying onsite. Please read the General Information first, then open the section for the accommodation you’ve booked for your site-specific information, including location, parking, what to bring, facilities and catering.

General Information
Arrival + Check-In
Accommodation is available from 5.00pm on Friday 28 August.
If you’re Outdoor Camping, you can access the campground from 3.00pm to give you time to set up before Spark begins.
If you’re staying in Indoor Camping, Mountain Camp, Kedumba or Hartley, we’ll email your room allocation separately before Spark. Keep an eye on your inbox for an email from info@kcc.org.au.
Doors to the Auditorium open at 7.30pm, with Session One beginning at 8.00pm.
Parking + Carpooling
Coming with friends or people from church? Carpool if you can!
Parking is limited across StayKCC, and travelling together will help reduce traffic and congestion around our accommodation sites and on the StayKCC Oval.
Parking arrangements vary depending on where you’re staying, so please check the parking information under your accommodation section before you arrive.
Please follow the directions of our parking team and signage when you arrive.
Check-out
If you’re staying in Indoor Camping, Mountain Camp, Kedumba or Hartley, please vacate your accommodation by 8.45am on Sunday 30 August.
Session Five begins at 9.00am, so please make sure you’ve packed up and removed your belongings before heading to the Auditorium on Sunday morning.
Outdoor Camping: You can leave your campsite set up during the Sunday morning program. Please pack up and vacate the campground by 3.00pm on Sunday.
Dietary Requirements
If you’ve already submitted a dietary requirement, please introduce yourself to the kitchen team when you arrive for your first meal.
If you haven’t submitted your dietary requirements yet, please email info@kcc.org.au by midnight Sunday 23 August.
Unfortunately, we may not be able to accommodate new dietary requirements received after this deadline.
Nut-Free Site
StayKCC is a nut-free site. Please help us look after everyone onsite by not bringing any food or snacks containing nuts.
Alcohol, Smoking + Vaping
Alcohol, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on StayKCC property.
Emergencies
In an emergency, please follow the directions of KCC staff and your accommodation Site Host.
Site Hosts
Your Site Host will be available to help throughout the weekend and oversee your accommodation site.
Please follow their instructions and speak to them if you need assistance during your stay.

Outdoor Camping
Location + Arrival
The campground is located on StayKCC grounds and is accessed via:
10 Laurel Street, Katoomba
The campground opens from 3.00pm on Friday 28 August to give you time to set up before Spark begins.
Camping spots are not individually allocated, so please select a site when you arrive.
Parking
There is limited parking at the campground.
You’re welcome to drive into the campground to drop off your camping gear and set up, but please then move your vehicle to the StayKCC Oval for the weekend.
The StayKCC Oval is located on the corner of Cliff Drive and Violet Street. Please follow the directions of our parking team when you arrive.
Facilities
The campground has:
Hot showers and toilets
Fridge
Kitchen sink
Covered BBQ area
Electric BBQs
Cooking + Campground Safety
Open fires are not permitted in the campground.
Cooking must be done using a gas stove or the BBQs provided. Please maintain at least 5 metres of clear space around gas stoves and BBQs while in use.
Please use the campground gates when entering and leaving rather than accessing the campground through the fences.
Before leaving on Sunday, please fill any holes or trenches you’ve made around your tent or van site.
Catering Add-On
If you’ve purchased a Catering Add-On, meals will be served at the Mountain Camp Dining Room (except Saturday night dinner). Meals included are:
Friday Supper (after Session One)
Saturday Breakfast (from 7.15am to 8.15am)
Saturday Lunch (from 12.30pm to 1.30pm)
Spark Under the Stars Dinner (from 6pm to 7pm in the Outdoor Plaza)
Saturday Supper (after Session Four)
Sunday Breakfast (from 7.15am to 8.15am)
Your Spark Under the Stars dinner is already included, so you don’t need to purchase a separate dinner ticket.
If you haven’t purchased a Catering Add-On, you’ll need to organise your own meals for the weekend.
Sunday Check-Out
There’s no need to pack up before the Sunday morning Spark program.
You can leave your campsite set up during the sessions and return afterwards to pack up. Please vacate the campground by 3.00pm on Sunday 30 August.
Indoor Camping
Location
Clairvaux is located off Violet Street, past the StayKCC Oval.
Entry is via the gate on the corner of Cedar Street and Oak Street.

Parking
Parking at Clairvaux is very limited. We recommend parking on the StayKCC Oval and walking up to Clairvaux.
Limited parking is available near the building if required.
Please follow signage and only park in designated areas.
What to Bring
You’ll be sleeping in carpeted meeting rooms with shared toilets and showers.
Please bring:
Yoga/Pilates mat or air bed
Sleeping bag
Pillow
Towel
Toiletries
Any other personal items you’ll need for the weekend
Catering Add-On
If you’ve purchased a Catering Add-On, meals will be served at the Mountain Camp Dining Room (except Saturday night dinner). Meals included are:

Basic self-catering facilities are available at Clairvaux including:

Basic cooking utensils
Bench space
Fridge space is limited, so please only bring what you need and label all food with your name or group name.
You’ll need to bring your own food, eating utensils and cleaning supplies.
Please clean the kitchen and cooking areas after use so they’re ready for others.
Mountain Camp
Location
Mountain Camp is located on the StayKCC site, accessed via our main entry:

Look out for our parking team when you arrive and follow their directions.

Kedumba is located just before the main StayKCC entrance on the right-hand side of Cliff Drive:

Parking
Parking is available onsite at Hartley for guests staying there.
To make the most of the available parking space, you may need to park other vehicles in. If you do, please leave your mobile number clearly visible on the dashboard so you can be contacted if your car needs to be moved.
