We’re looking forward to welcoming you to StayKCC during Spark! 
  
Please see below some important information to read regarding your stay with us. 
   
All accommodation sites will be available for occupancy from 5pm on Friday 22 August. If you’re outdoor camping, you’ll be able to access the campground from 3pm on Friday 22 August.
 
If you’re sleeping indoors, room allocations will be emailed to you on Friday 15 August. Room allocation lists will also be available in the Dining Hall of each accommodation site when you arrive.
  
Please read the general information section below, along with the section for the accommodation that you have booked.

General Information

Alcohol and smoking   
Alcohol and smoking (including vapes) are not permitted on StayKCC property.
  
Check out  
Please vacate all rooms prior to 8.45am on Sunday 24 August.
 
Dietary Requirements 
Please make yourself known to kitchen staff at your accommodation site if you’ve submitted a dietary requirement to us. If you haven’t told us about you dietary requirement, please email us now info@kcc.org.au
    
Emergencies   
Please listen to the instructions from your site host in the case of emergency.

Nut-free   
StayKCC is a nut-free site. Please be mindful of others and don’t bring anything with you that contains nuts!
 
Site Hosts   
Your accommodation site host/s will look after all aspects of your stay. Please give them your full cooperation so that the weekend runs smoothly for everyone.

Outdoor Camping

Outdoor Camping

The Camping area is located on the Convention Centre grounds – access at 10 Laurel Street, Katoomba. The Camping Area will be open from 3.00pm to allow you time to “peg in” or “plug in”. Please note that there aren’t allocated spots to bookings. There are hot showers, toilets, fridge, kitchen sink, and a covered BBQ area with electric BBQs for cooking meals onsite.    
   
Open fires are not permitted in the camping area. Cooking must be done on a gas stove or at the BBQ provided. At all times, please insure there is a minimum of 5 metres of cleared spaces around a BBQ or gas stove. All trenches and holes around your tent / van site must be filled before you leave the site. Please use the camping area gates rather than accessing the camping area through the fences.   
 
Catering Add-On 
If you’ve purchased a catering add-on, meals will be served at the Mountain Camp Dining Room (except Saturday night dinner). Meals included are:   

Friday Supper (after session finishes) 

Saturday Breakfast (from 7:15am to 8.15am) 

Saturday Lunch (from 12:30pm to 1:30pm) 

Saturday Dinner in the Outdoor Plaza (from 6pm to 7pm) 

Sunday Breakfast (from 7:15am to 8.15am) 

Indoor Camping

Indoor Camping

Clairvaux is located off Violet Street, past the StayKCC oval (used for parking). There is an entry gate on the corner of Cedar and Oak Street, with limited parking at the back of the building and on the grassed areas. 
  
What to bring  
Make sure you bring a mattress/air bed, sleeping bag, pillow, and all personal items. You will be sleeping in carpeted meeting rooms and sharing use of toilets and showers in the building.

Catering Add-On 
If you’ve purchased a catering add-on, meals will be served at the Mountain Camp Dining Room (except Saturday night dinner). Meals included are:

Self-Catering
If you are organising your own meals at Clairvaux you will have basic catering facilities available – small cook tops, sinks, fridge (this fridge is shared so please limit what you bring), basic cooking utensils and benches. You will need to bring all other cooking equipment, eating utensils and cleaning equipment (spray, wipes etc.), as well as food.  Please make sure you keep the kitchen facilities clean and tidy for others to use. Please label any food/items in the fridge with your name and/or group.

Mountain Camp is located on the Convention Centre site, accessed via our main entry. The address is 119 Cliff Drive, Katoomba.
